The High Couch of Silistra, another masterpiece of women fantasy art from Boris Vallejo. Between them they hold over sixty copyrights, and have many used titles on Amazon and B&N. Review: High Couch of Silistra , by Janet E. Like High Couch of Silistra without the all-up-on-itselfness. Product Details: Publisher: Baen (1985). In Janet Morris' The High Couch of Silistra and sequels, while being straight seems to be the social norm, homosexual sex is apparently commonplace and completely acceptable. The fact that it tells us this author has also written a book entitled High Couch of Silistra. She wrote a book with a pretentious title about a COUCH. And yeah, the decadence--for all its body-count, which is pretty high--is just so happy-go-lucky, it's almost sweet. I am honored to have Janet and Chris Morris on my blog today.
